Dr. GIOVANNI GENTILE
Born in Rome on November 24, 1969. After graduating from foreign languages, acquired an excellent knowledge of English, French and Spanish language.
During his university studies successfully passed written and oral examinations in Slovak, Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Croatian language and literature and graduated cum laude in modern foreign languages and literatures at Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis titled "The Slovak Republic into the european integration process".
He has received several scholarships from the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic to improve his studies of Slovak language at Comenius University in Bratislava and Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Košice.
He worked as a lecturer of Italian language at the Facolty of Education of Comenius University and the Facolty of Mass Media of the Paneuropean University in Bratislava.
He was coordinator of upper secondary school leaving examination of Italian language in Slovakia for the National Institute for Education .
He was a member of the examination commission of Italian language for diplomatic corps on behalf of Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and collaborated with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Institute in Rome.
Since 1998 he is teaching Italian language in many public and private institutions in Slovakia and made various translation and interpreting works for many Italian and Slovak entrepreneurs.
He was appointed as a president of the examination commission of Italian language for legal interpreters and translators and elected member of the executive committee of the The Slovak Association of Translators and Interpreters.
He held specialized seminars for translators of Italian language on behalf of Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Košice.
He collaborated with the National Institute for Certified Educational Measurements, during upper secondary school leaving examination of Italian language for the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
He has been vice president of non profit association ASPIM EUROPA, based in Turin, which supports small and medium-sized enterprises in different countries of the world
He has been co-founder and president of non profit association FRIENDS OF ITALIAN AND SLOVAK CULTURE,that organizes and promotes economical, entrepreneuriali, business and cultural activities between Italiy and Slovakia.
He is owner and managing director of the company ITALIANSKONSULTING, that offers consulting services under one roof, specialized education in Italian language and organizes entrepreneurial missions to support and medium-sized enterprises on the slovak market (interview in Slovak).
He is co-owner of the company EDUCATION UNITED INVESTIMENTS, con sede a Bratislava, che si occupa di internalizzazione della formazione universitaria.
He is fouder and director of the international festival ITALIAN-SLOVAK FRIENDSHIP DAYS
