ITALIANSKONSULTING was one of the Slovak companies chosen by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic to attend "Slovak-Italian business forum" and direct negotiations with selected Italian companies and institutions.

On the occasion of Slovakia's participation in the EXPO Milano 2015 world exposition Igor Slobodník, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, presented a festive opening of the Slovakia-Italy Business Forum in the Vittoriano complex in Rome today (16 June 2015).

In his address the State Secretary appreciated the high standard of bilateral relations between Slovakia and Italy both in the political and economic areas. He emphasized that the Slovak economy is open to even yet more intensive cooperation with Italy in the areas of energy, information technologies, machinery, the electro-technical and chemical industries and tourism.

Italy ranks as the fourth most important investor in Slovakia. The amount of mutual trade has also been growing dynamically. The Slovakia-Italy Business Forum has focused on effective mechanisms of incentives for promoting the influx of important investments to the Slovak economy and on numerous industrial parks all across Slovakia. Drawing from testimonies and references from already-established companies, opportunities were presented for further development of mutual economic cooperation. Last but not least, the event was an invitation to visit the Slovak pavilion at the world exposition EXPO Milano 2015.

The Slovakia-Italy Business Forum was combined with an exhibition of Slovak modern art within the project of the Italian capital city "Rome Towards EXPO Milano 2015" on 16-17 June 2015 that was prepared by the Embassy of SR in Rome in cooperation with the commissioner general of the Slovak exhibition, SARIO (Slovak Investments and Trade Development Agency), the Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and the city of Rome.
